Amali's debut EP has been well received by critics and fans alike - with the Daily Telegraph raving "taking her time has paid off," describing the music as "mature pop."

The EP also received Australian independent music's highest honour, receiving a MusicOz Award. Amali also held the #1 spot for over 12 weeks on the Myspace Soul Charts, opposite major label artists such as Daniel Merriweather and Guy Sebastian.
